As I was walking up a crowded and bustling 8th Avenue towards Columbus Circle, I passed a man with a cat perched on his head! The cat was on a leash and perfectly poised on the man's head. The man briskly walked through the crowded streets and from what I could see, not one person blinked. I couldn't believe it! Seeing this man with a cat on his head brought me to a standstill with a giant smile hugging my face. A series of thoughts popped into my head: "No Way!" (as I giggled on the inside); "Only in New York"; "Doesn't anyone else see how amazing this is?!" "I want to seriously re-think (and possibly re-name) "The Cat in the Hat!!"
Needless to say, I was deliciously amused and happy.
